We designed our Police Reporting System (PRS) to assist field officers with filling out the NJTR-1 police report. This application is extremely user-friendly, containing many drop-down boxes with codes and information built into the program. This feature saves time and help the officer create a very accurate report. Page formatting is automatically done by the application. Officers will no longer have to fumble around with multiple pages, trying to figure or what goes where. If a long description or full-page accident diagram is necessary, the application knows where everything belongs. The application is, also, designed to take into account multiple injuries, and/or vehicles. Built from the ground up, what makes the PRS so unique is the integration of two years worth of acquired knowledge from working for NJDOT, developing their ARV (Accident Report Verification) application. ARV is the backend of processing the NJTR-1 reports.
